Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and store temperature-sensitive goods in refrigerated environments (32°F to 40°F)
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with OSHA-certified precision
- Monitor and maintain optimal humidity/temperature levels using digital control systems
- Execute inventory audits using RFID scanning technology and WMS software
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and FDA compliance standards for food safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily throughput targets
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-40°F environments
- Basic proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
