Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature controls and humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products safely
- Conduct inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with precision and efficiency
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license a plus
