Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage temperatures (-18°F to 40°F zones)
- Inspect products for quality compliance and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners, dock doors)
- Maintain strict sanitation standards including sanitation logs
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
