Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage facilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and document product quality and storage conditions
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for inventory management
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends required)
