Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize frozen products in warehouse racking systems
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring equipment
- Conduct daily inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and OSHA safety standards
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of cold storage facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid Louisiana driver's license preferred
