Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 32°F)
- Monitor and maintain cold storage inventory using WMS systems
- Inspect and document temperature compliance records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Prepare shipments for perishable food distributors
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless logistics
- Maintain sanitation standards for food-grade facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (4-8 hour shifts)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid California driver's license preferred
