Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels in cold storage areas
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance of cold storage facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures between 0°F and 40°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
