Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated/frozen products from trucks and storage racks
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated systems (training provided)
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using digital tracking systems
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and HACCP protocols
- Monitor and report temperature deviations in storage units
- Collaborate with team to meet daily operational targets
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment
- Participate in monthly safety drills and training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Ability to work in 32-40°F refrigerated environments
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Team player with strong communication skills
