Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect and organize inventory using WMS systems for optimal rotation
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in sub-zero environments
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements daily
- Collaborate with quality control team for product integrity checks
- Participate in monthly sanitation and deep cleaning procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in -10°F to -20°F environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
