Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Load/unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks following FIFO protocols
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation systems
- Operate and sanitize cold storage equipment per safety standards
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance requirements
- Collaborate with team to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- High school diploma or equivalent required
