Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP protocols
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas daily
- Operate automated warehouse systems (RF scanners, etc.)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (freezer sections)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
- Background check and drug screen required
