Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain product quality during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Perform inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Participate in mandatory safety training and drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (or willingness to train)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures with proper PPE
