Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products
- Conduct daily sanitation protocols and adhere to HACCP/FDA compliance standards
- Inventory management using WMS systems and cycle counting in extreme environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless dock-to-stock operations
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance reports
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols to minimize spoilage risk
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
