Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment safely
- Inspect and document storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to food safety protocols
- Rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methods
- Sanitize equipment and facilities using industrial-grade cleaners
- Complete daily maintenance logs and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Valid California driver's license
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
