Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units using digital controls
- Safely load/unload pallets of food products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Complete inventory tracking and documentation in warehouse management systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of storage areas according to HACCP protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in 0°F to 40°F environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
