Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage areas
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect products for quality and document inventory accurately
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
