Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Operate industrial cold storage equipment with OSHA compliance
- Monitor and document equipment performance (cooling units, sensors)
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable inventory
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour or Forklift certification required
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible shifts/nights/weekends
