Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital thermometers
- Safely load/unrefrigerated trucks and organize inventory in freezer/cooler zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon arrival
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory logs using barcode scanners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Punctual with reliable transportation
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
