Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in temperature-controlled zones (32-38°F)
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with strict safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts using digital scanners
- Maintain sanitation standards for food-grade storage environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Document handling procedures and report equipment maintenance needs
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance standards for perishable goods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments (thermal clothing provided)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
- Valid driver's license preferred (equipment training provided)
- Attention to detail for product rotation and FIFO compliance
