Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (0°F to 35°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated zones
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO principles
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following HACCP protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks
- Complete inventory logs and temperature records
Qualifications
- 1+ years cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 35°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
