Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to safely move refrigerated products and materials
- Conduct daily inventory checks and cycle counts in cold storage zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling and storage
- Perform sanitation duties including cleaning floors, racks, and equipment
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using proper lifting techniques
- Complete accurate documentation for inventory and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
