Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and document product conditions using digital inventory systems
- Load/unload temperature-controlled vehicles following HACCP protocols
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment
- Coordinate with quality control team for compliance audits
- Respond to temperature alarms and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments (-20°F to 40°F)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
