Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Safely load/unload pallets of perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory audits and manage stock rotation (FIFO) systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP compliance standards
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) with proper certifications
- Document daily operations and report equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging 0°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
