Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Inspect, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO methods to ensure product integrity
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment following OSHA standards
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Document inventory movements and environmental conditions using digital systems
- Adhere to strict hygiene protocols including PPE usage and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated environment
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license and clean background check required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
