Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated warehouses (0°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload pallets of frozen and refrigerated products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory audits and rotate stock using FIFO methods
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and sanitation procedures for food safety compliance
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and report deviations immediately
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company certification program)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability including nights/weekends
