Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain refrigerated warehouse temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital control systems
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and manage product rotation (FIFO) systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate automated storage/retrieval systems and conveyor belts
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of equipment and storage areas
- Complete daily logs for temperature, equipment status, and inventory
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends during peak seasons
