Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated refrigeration systems
- Maintain precise inventory records using our digital tracking system for frozen and refrigerated products
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA protocols for safe food handling in sub-zero environments
- Perform routine sanitation procedures on equipment and storage areas to meet FDA standards
- Monitor and document temperature fluctuations using provided digital thermometers and alert systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of perishable goods
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 0°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain forklift certification (equipment provided)
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly with mechanical assistance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
