Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls in refrigerated/freezer environments (-20°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect, sort, and package perishable goods according to safety protocols
- Load/unload trucks using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Document inventory movements and quality control checks
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP food safety standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
