Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in 200,000 sq ft temperature-controlled facility
- Execute daily inventory counts using RF scanners with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional team loading/unloading 40+ daily shipments
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections
- Train new operators on warehouse safety protocols
- Optimize stacking techniques to maximize storage efficiency
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks during peak seasons
Qualifications
- 2+ years certified forklift operation experience (valid OSHA certification)
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand 8-hour shifts
- RF scanner proficiency (Zebra/Intermec experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NC driver's license for occasional yard truck operation
- WMS experience (SAP/JDA a plus)
- OSHA HazMat certification desirable
