Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods with precision
- Maintain strict temperature logs and monitor humidity levels in storage zones
- Perform quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable products
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Organize inventory using FIFO principles in multi-chamber facilities
- Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
