Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer storage units
- Safely load/unload and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct regular inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) with precision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Report equipment malfunctions and environmental issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
