Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Inspect and operate refrigeration systems, recording daily performance metrics
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine sanitation and safety compliance checks
- Collaborate with remote team members via digital platforms for inventory coordination
- Document storage activities using our cloud-based inventory management system
- Participate in monthly safety training (remote/virtual options available)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to train
- Proficient in basic digital tools for remote reporting (Google Docs, Slack)
- Strong attention to detail with food safety awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
