Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts using RF scanners
- Enforce HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all warehouse operations
- Operate automated storage retrieval systems (AS/RS) with precision
- Sanitize equipment and facilities according to FSMA guidelines
- Document temperature logs and compliance reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero environments
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math and inventory record-keeping skills
