Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory
- Inspect and sanitize equipment/facilities to comply with FDA and HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold environment work
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
