Responsibilities
- Supervise 8-12 part-time staff during assigned shifts, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement and maintain warehouse organization systems for optimal space utilization
- Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve operational challenges
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and equipment operation proficiency
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory software)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred
