Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in racking systems
- Conduct daily safety checks on equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and sanitation standards for food-grade facilities
- Operate RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and rotation management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero environments
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
