Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload shipments efficiently
- Conduct daily inventory counts using barcode scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all cold environments
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas to meet food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
