Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using pallet jacks/forklifts
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all tasks
- Perform inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO)
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment according to food safety standards
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED required
