Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and package perishable goods following HACCP standards
- Monitor inventory systems using our proprietary remote management platform
- Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely shipping/receiving
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
