Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily facility inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and FDA food safety regulations
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient storage rotations
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature monitoring and inventory control
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
