Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight efficiently using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks in freezing temperatures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and cycle counting.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the storage facility at all times.
- Monitor storage conditions to ensure goods remain within required temperature parameters.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures below 35°F for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
