Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital control systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and organize inventory in freezer/cool-down zones using barcode scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning of storage areas and equipment
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
