Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and document product integrity using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient inventory rotation
- Perform sanitation procedures and facility maintenance tasks
- Train on specialized cold storage equipment operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in sub-zero temperatures
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
