Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory by FIFO standards
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment with proper safety protocols
- Conduct daily facility sanitation and pest control inspections
- Document inventory movements using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA regulations for food safety
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-paid training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
