Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls and monitor refrigeration systems
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Execute FIFO inventory management in multi-zone cold storage units
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail in inventory and quality control
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
