Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move temperature-sensitive inventory
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for refrigerated/frozen zones
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards in cold environments
- Inventory management using WMS systems
- Sanitize equipment and facilities per HACCP guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (4-8 hours/day)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends)
- No prior cold storage experience required
