Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload refrigerated trucks and containers, ensuring product integrity.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and verify stock levels within temperature-controlled zones.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Warehouse Operations: Organize storage areas and rotate stock (FIFO) to ensure freshness and efficiency.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when certified.
- Quality Control: Perform routine inspections of stored goods and report any damage or discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
