Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones using provided monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled shipments using company-provided PPE and tools
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided) for inventory movement
- Conduct routine quality checks on perishable goods using provided thermometers
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and sanitation standards for food safety
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to maintain efficient cold chain logistics
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments with provided thermal gear
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and temperature monitoring
- Valid driver's license (company vehicles provided for some tasks)
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly using provided ergonomic equipment
- Attention to detail for quality control documentation
- Reliable transportation to Port Industrial Blvd location
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
