Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature levels in cold storage units
- Operate provided forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using provided hydraulic equipment
- Conduct routine sanitation of storage areas
- Document inventory using provided handheld scanners
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Reliable transportation to Seaport District location
