Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, refrigerated docks)
- Monitor and document storage temperatures using provided digital monitoring tools
- Inspect and maintain equipment cleanliness/sanitation protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using company-provided hydraulic systems
- Follow strict food safety and OSHA compliance guidelines
- Conduct inventory audits using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain using company resources)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with provided mechanical aids
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to Harbor Island location
